i am only finding luxury homes and condos that are way too extravagant for me and too much money, i want something in the 30,000 dollar range so i can buy it straight out cash.
i would prefer Baja California but Sonora is ok to.

    I suggest you talk to a real state agent in the city you are moving in. Take a few days off before you move there to explore your options, but like I said let someone do the leg work for you. Right now it is the best time to buy even in Mexico.

    Just an idea, but consider having something built. My fiance and I have land in Puerto Vallarta, about 15 minutes inland from the beach. The land in the area sells for a few thousand a lot surrounding a large grassy park and small elementary school. The homes they’re building around it are absolutely GORGEOUS! They look like some of the million dollar homes on the east coast but they’re running around 30k to 40k USD to build. For the locals, that’s a lot of money, but for Americans- WHAT A FREAKING STEAL.

    We’re planning to travel for the next 2 years but we’re planning to build there shortly after.
